OIL SLICK

This velvet-like evening bag took its design from the beaded glass fringe decorating the base. The purse itself is crocheted entirely of luxury-quality black acrylic chenille except for the decorative pattern which was worked in a novelty yarn that in both color and texture coordinated well with the bag's other design elements. It is lined with a stiffened printed lame from Grovesner Square in London, and the shoulder-length hanging cord is black velvet. The flap front is weighted with Italian glass blue/black and gold teardrop-shaped beads.

Size: Envelope style, about eight inches wide by seven inches long, exclusive of beaded fringe.
